Like the Bohemian look we posted a while back featuring those gorgeous headpieces from Bandar Sarali, we decided to give the usual necklaces or earrings a rest again. This look is all about that scarf and simple headpiece.

So, here's a little breakdown of our second look for the 'how to style denim shorts' series.
The easiest way to wear your denim shorts is to pair it with a tank top, some sandals and you're good to go. But, we wanted to create a slightly boho chic look, so we decided to pair it with this gorgeous silk scarf, a simple gold head chain and a pair of black Louboutins. We also paired it with the grey Fendi bag so the scarf and all those colours remain the focus. If you've been wanting to try out head pieces but aren't sure if they'll suit you, opt for something simple like this instead of statement piece.

So, this isn't my go to look because of two things: The first being my hair being up in a ponytail and the second being the shirt around the waist. But, it's always about trying different things and I quite liked the look and would definitely sport it again. That's why I wanted to share this look with all of you!

This trend from the 90's has been back for a while now. You could stick to the classic and most common way to pulling off the shirt-wrap look by tying it around your jeans. Or, now that it's warm tie it around a lose dress like we have. We wanted to keep the look quite clean and simple so we stuck to some statements rings and a bright lip to add some depth to the look. You can change the entire look up and make it more casual by switching to some flats or boots. Plaid flannel shirts were all the rage then but there's no harm in switching it up a bit with denim right?

Would you experiment with this look a little? I hope so you will.

These denim shorts are by far my favourite piece in my closet! You can wear denim shorts if your style's completely casual and laid-back or chic and polished. Depending on how comfortable you are you can pick a pair that's short like mine or ones that are longer as well. That's why this wardrobe basic is a staple and can be styled any way you'd like.

I'm going to show you multiple ways to style these denim shorts of mine. Here I've decided to dress it up with this flowy kimono and a pair of Louboutin's. If you're not in the mood to wear heels you could pair it with some nice stroppy sandals instead. Be sure to pair it with some statement jewellery like I have from Vajor to glam it up more if you'd like.

No matter what your style, your shape or your budget may be shorts are for everyone in the spring and summer (And the winter too depending on where you live) there are so many different styles, prints and textures to fit every body type!

So, let's be honest: Black's the go to colour for almost everyone (or mostly just me). I often ignore bright orange's or greens. But, I always tell everyone I love all things colourful but I can hardly get myself to wear a lot of colour. I simply prefer black and neural colours on me. But off late I've been trying to incorporate more colour in my outfits.

I've come to realize that most people stick to neutral tones because they're scared they might pair the wrong colours together and get the styling all wrong and end up looking hideous. Stop being terrified! You can pair a lot more colours together than you think.

I wanted to go for something bold and daring so Deepa paired these colours together. I love, love all these together. So modern and bold. Remember, adding colour to your wardrobe is one of the best ways to refresh it. So, head on out and go get yourself so much need colour!

Hope you guy like the look!

Wearing bright colours is a great way to brighten up a dull day. I love this shade of green and the structure of that skirt. Do you wear brighter clothes when you're feeling dull and want to brighten up your day?
Also, remember that pairing red and green isn't just for the holidays. If it's paired together in a more sophisticated and fashionable way it works all year round.

Hope all of you've been having a good weekend!

This look was from the shoot we did a while back, before I'd fallen ill. It's very true to my personal style and I love, love how the messy fish tail braids works (Had the best hairstylist). There aren't any stand alone Iceberg or Dsquared2 stores in Bangalore so if you've been wanting anything from either brand you should visit Fervour on Vittal Mallya road in Bangalore. The have menswear too! So, head on over and find yourself some amazing designer pieces.

We're clearly in love with Midi Skirts and this black one from Mohe is just perfect.  Again, since these skirts are long and cover up so much of the leg we personally think that the top should be just a little bare. So, this top works perfectly because of those cut outs. Anyone could pull this look off because it's so simple and chic!

Now head over to Mohe and check out all the gorgeous pieces they have in store!

Love, love, love this Spades Style pink midi skirt. Since it's longer and has so much body we decided to pair it with this fitted crop-top (yet again) to show off a little skin.  The bare shoulders and midriff balance out the demure silhouette of the skirt. Also, keep in mind while wearing midi skirts heels are a must! Especially for petite women like myself. That's why we paired it with these simple black louboutins. Hope you like the look!

Now head over to Spades Style and get yourself a custom made midi skirt!

Nizanta is now available in India! They're an American company and we've been waiting for them to launch here and it's all finally available for all you sophisticated Indian shoppers.
Unlike most of the other brands their pieces are a fresh take on traditional Indian jewellery. The quality of these pieces are amazing and they're all gold foiled not just gold plated.  Another reason why I liked them as much is because for every piece sold they will contribute towards supporting the handicraft industry in India. In addition to that they've got pieces that would appeal to all age groups. They're collection ranges from classic to traditional pieces. So, shop away at NIZANTA!

Wearing:

You can never really go wrong in black and white!
I've had this skirt for a bit and still love it. It's that fabric and the structure it has and obviously the cats that make me love it that much more. If only it was available in multiple colours, I'd have wanted all of them.  Hope all of you like this super playful look just as much as I do.

Valentine's Day is the best excuse to wear a fabulous outfit and look your best. Embrace the day and wear something that stands out, makes you feel incredible and wows your special someone. A cliché as red is we couldn't help but pick this gorgeous gown by designer Ritika Bharwani.

Since brunches have been trending all around the world we thought it would be nice if we styled the same piece for a nice Brunch Date on Valentine's Day. To keep it more day time appropriate we decided to take the dress and make it a little edgy. We've paired it with this gorgeous studded Theo & Ash jacket and a simple sling bag and some black pumps. Day or night you've got to have those heels on!

For a nice Dinner Date on Valentine's Day we've paired the dress with a simple clutch and some silver sandals. We had to take the jacket off to show off that open back. We love all things gold but decided to change things up and not do the usual gold and red pairing.

We hope you've found your perfect Valentine's Day outfit. If you haven't already head over to a store closest to you and pick one up, soon!

Even if you're single get dressed up, look fabulous and have an amazing Valentine's day!

What I like most about Vajor unlike a lot of other online retailers is how prompt their delivery is and the quality of their products. We picked their Noir White Petite Dress because we found it very simple and feminine and a little sophisticated because of that matching jacket. In addition to that a piece like this can be used year round. You've got the jacket to keep you warm in this chilly winter weather and you can take that jacket off and you've got the perfect summer dress.

As for the accessories we went bolder. We couldn't help but edge it up by wearing their Greek Gold Cuff  and this gorgeous Audrey Choker. Hope you guys like the dress and how we've styled it!
